Outdoor Lab overnight

Emmy had her outdoor lab overnight field trip on the Monday after Thanksgiving this year. It was SOOOOO cold but they survived and had a great time.  Emmy's friend's mom chaperoned and sent me these pictures.

Heritage Gardens at Christmas

When we were up in Massachusetts this summer we went to the Heritage Gardens and it was beautiful!  We went to see their Christmas lights when we were up for Thanksgiving. It was fun to wander around at night and the lights were beautiful but I think I prefer the summer!!

Thanksgiving in Plymouth

 We drove up to Massachusetts to see Mimi for Thanksgiving this year.  She really wanted to go and watch the Pilgrim reenactors march to the top of Burial Hill in Plymouth so we all went with her to see it.  It was actually pretty cool and the kids enjoyed themselves - especially getting hot chocolate at Dunkin donuts beforehand! 

Thanksgiving Night

Scituate vs. Hingham at Fenway Park

Thanksgiving Eve and we went to the Hingham v Scituate game at Fenway. Again - it was freezing - I feel like there is a trend here. It's good to remember why we don't live in Massachusetts anymore!!!

We had a good time even if it was cold!  Mimi came with us and ee went to eat at Walburgers before the game. It was good to get a nice warm meal into us before we sat in the cold!!  Scituate lost the game, sadly 7-6 but it was a great experience!  Declan ended up falling asleep on my lap - probably the last time that will ever happen so I was happy to sit there for a while!!

Edaville Railroad

 We are up in Massachusetts to celebrate Thanksgiving with Mimi this year but we thought that we would take the kids out of school for a few days and spend some more time up there instead of having to drive up and back in 4 days!
Today we went to Edaville Railroad with the kids. It was cold but super fun! We road the merry-go-round, the ferris wheel, the train and some other rides as well!  The last time that we went it was when the kids were really little (2010!!!) and it wasn't nearly as much fun as this time around!! It was fun to see the things that had changed - and the things that hadn't changed.  Plus we have another kid this time and he LOVED it:

This is 40!

 Well - it finally happened!  I turned 40!  I remember when my mom turned 40 and now here I am.  Weirdly surreal but things couldn't be better - 4 happy, healthy children, amazing husband, new career, great house - what else could we ask for???

Final Pride Tournament

 Emmy played in her last Pride tournament of the year this morning. It was so cold - about 30 degrees when we arrived for warm ups!  They were tough and didn't complain at all - probably the donuts and hot chocolate helped!!

Veteran's Day Concert

The 3rd grade put on a great Veteran's Day concert today!  Brendan took the afternoon off an came to the school with me to see the concert.  It was so cute and very well done!!

Aoife - Pride Lacrosse Tournament

Aoife's team played through cold and rain and mud today!  They were so super tough and did so great!!!
