Field Trip to Claude Moore Colonial Farm

 This morning Declan and I went with the first grade to visit Claude Moore Colonial Farm. It is literally just up the road from our house and the school so it's a fantastic field trip!  We had a great time - the weather was great and we got to see lots of animals!  The kids thought that the chickens were pretty great!  We didn't get to do a lot of the crafts because it was pretty crowded and we ran out of time.  We still pounded corn, carded wool and played with old fashioned toys.  It was a really fun morning out!!
