Aoife's 3rd Birthday

 Happy Birthday Aoife!  I can't believe she is 3 already.  She is getting to be such a big girl.  She enjoys school and has a lot of fun playing with her friends as well as Aidan and Emmy. 

Emmy's First Sleepover

 Emmy went to her first sleepover on Friday night - and she made it through the night!  I was pretty anxious that she wouldn't be able to handle it since she's only 4 but she had a great time and actually slept!  The next day was Aoife's birthday party and Brendan and I were both expecting Emmy to be an exhausted mess but she held it together really well!  Aoife missed her the most, I think.  They share a room so Aoife had to go to bed alone.  She fell asleep and slept in an extra hour in the morning - I guess we now know who wakes everyone up!

First WIN!

 Aidan's team WON their game on Sunday!!  Woohoo!!  Aidan got a hit but got stranded on base again.  He's determined to score in the next game!!

Here We Go Again!

If you didn't already know or figure it out - we are expecting baby #4 in September!! We are so excited and the kids are truly jumping out of their skins! Aoife is especially happy and will sit on the couch with me and talk to my belly and pat it! She is so cute! As of today I am 17 weeks - so only a little while longer until we find out if we're having another boy or girl!!

Aidan's First Baseball Game

 Aidan had his first baseball game today!  The Northwest Little League had a jamboree to kick off the season.  It was fun to watch the opening ceremonies and then Aidan had a 1/2 game.  He even hit a double at his first at bat!!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! We had lots of fun over the Easter weekend!  On Saturday we went to the Clarksville Egg Hunt and it was total chaos!  There were so many kids even though they split them up by ages.  We didn't stay too much longer after the egg hunt since it was hot and so crowded!  Afterwards we shot off balloons with Gramma and Daddy Jim and dyed eggs.  The Easter Bunny was very kind to the children and left them lots of candy in their baskets - maybe next year the Easter Bunny will leave just enough that it can all be eaten before breakfast!!  It was such a beautiful day that we did a quick egg hunt in the front yard and then the kids played in the back yard until dinner.

 

 

Month of the Military Child

 April is the Month of the Military Child.  Aoife goes to preschool on Fort Campbell and they are making a big deal about it.  Each day they are going to do something silly or fun - like pajama day or danishes with Dads.  On the first day of April they had a parade with all the kids from the preschool and the two daycares that are across the street.  Aoife was NOT happy about the whole thing until the band started playing and she got to dance with her teacher!
