Emmy was selected to play in the USA Lacrosse National Schoolgirl Tournament and we decided to make a weekend of it since we really aren't going to get a summer vacation this year. We rented a big house about an hour from the fields - it is an old renovated mill! It was really nice and fun to explore! Emmy and Team 4 had a good time as well and it was fun to play with lots of girls that we know from other schools!
What a game! It came down to a free position from Emily Stafford with 3 seconds left - a 15-14 win that sends us to the semifinal of the State Tournament!!
We are a bit late this year getting the garden started! It's been a really cold spring and it just hasn't been warm enough to plant! I'm sure that things will be great once the garden gets going!!
Potomac lacrosse beat Sidwell today to win the MAC championship. They have been working so hard for the past three years to get to this place! A long season and a lot of tough games - but they stayed tough and won the whole thing!
We finally got the walnut counters installed in the dining room this week!! They are so gorgeous!

Aidan and I took the day and went to Gettysburg College to walk around. It was a beautiful school and everyone that we met was so friendly! We also had lunch at Upper Crust and had the BEST pizza ever!!
Declan's project at school needed an author photo. He wanted me to take this and he is adorable! What a big third grader!
Emmy and Aoife went to Georgetown for a prospect camp today. They had a great time! Hoya Saxa!!
