Emmy and Aidan had a field trip to the farm last week and Aoife, Declan, my mom and I crashed it! We weren't the only ones with the same idea - there were lots of other moms who just happened to be there at the same time! The kids had a great time. We learned about how corn grows and how to remover the kernals from the cob and grind corn into animal feed. There were also pigs, cows, goats and a duck to feed! We also visited the corn maze and the pumpkin patch and we left with 4 pumpkins! All around successful day - I think!
