Yorktown at Fall Brawl

 Yorktown JV played in the Varsity division at Fall Brawl this year and - although they didn't win any games- they had a great time and the weather was beautiful!!

Fall Classic

 This weekend Potomac had the second annual Backyard Classic. Aidan didn't wrestle because he was hurt but it was fun to watch all of the kids wrestle!

2025 Capital Lacrosse at Level Nine

Emmy's Capital team did really well at Level Nine this weekend! The games were in Philadelphia so Emmy and I went up the night before the stayed over in a hotel on Friday night with her team. The traffic was terrible going up and it took us a LONG time but we stopped at a fun Mexican restaurant to have dinner and did a little shopping at Dick's Sporting Goods! Buying sweatpants is Emmy's favorite! 

 

Capital Lacrosse at the Mid Atlantic Tournament

Emmy's Capital Team played at the Mid Atlantic Tournament this weekend. It is always so cold at these fields and this weekend was no exception! The girls played really well through cold and tons and tons of mud on the fields! It's going to be a really fun four years watching them!

 

Stars wins the Crown Tournament

 Aoife and Brendan's 2027 Stars Team won The Crown tournament this weekend! I wish I had been there but it was so cool to watch then through the tournament app - I just kept getting notifications and they kept winning all of their games!

Declan's first vaccine

Declan got his first COVID vaccination shot today! We are so grateful that we were able to get an appointment with the county so quickly. He was really nervous but the nurse was amazing and she made him so comfortable. He barely even felt the shot! A few more weeks and he'll be fully vaccinated!

Busy November Weekend!

A busy and super fun weekend! Football season ended with a huge win over Sidwell and Aidan and Emmy both played in some very successful and freezing lacrosse tournaments! It's the time of the year that I start filling my car with handwarmers!
