Dinner on the Potomac

July has been a long month with lots of family time and lots of isolation. We've been fortunate to be able to eat dinner on our patio a lot but even that is getting a little old. Tonight we surprised the kids with take out from Chipotle and a picnic dinner along the Potomac. We drove down to the Lincoln Memorial and spread out a blanket right along the river! The ducks and squirrels thought they would join us! It was a nice night - a little cooler and breezier than it has been. It was really easy and fun - definitely will do it again!
