After Brendan's speech on the 4th, we went to Brant Rock Beach before the rain set in again. The full moon made the tides super high so there was barely any beach when we got there but the tide went out fairly quickly and in no time there was plenty of room to play. Aidan and Murphy went swimming and everyone else searched for periwinkles and starfish. Aunt Siobhan showed Aoife that if you sing to a periwinkle it will come out of it's shell. This was about the coolest thing ever and Aoife serenaded many periwinkles!
