Pickin' on the Porch

 On Saturday night we went to a local distillery, MB Roland Distillery, in Hopkinsville, KY.  This summer they started having a monthly event on their property called Pickin' on the Porch.  There's a live band, BBQ for purchase and moonshine available as well!  They make all sorts of flavors from Pink Lemonade to Kentucky Mint Julep and bunches in between.  The BEST part is that you can buy a cup for $6 and have unlimited snowcones all summer - either with alcohol free flavored syrups OR you can buy moonshine and pour it over the snowcone!  It was really fun.  We met a lot of our friends over there and the kids ran around and ate dinner and snowcones and we got to socialize and listen to music!  It was a great alternative to Jazz on the Lawn in Clarksville - it isn't as crowded and it's a lot more family friendly!!
