Lacock Abbey

Yesterday was the last day before Brendan started school. We had to do another day trip - like we haven't seen tons already! We went to Castle Combe and then drove to Lacock Abbey. Both places were beautiful. After we walked around the Abbey we walked around the town and found a tea house inside a beautiful walled garden. We ate lunch - delicious sandwiches - and had tea. How British!

Here are some pictures of Lacock Abbey - you may recognize some of it from the first Harry Potter movie!Outside the cloisters:

Inside the cloisters - several scenes from Harry Potter were filmed on the grass and in the hallways.

Since I am housebound and due in a week, we spend a lot of time watching movies while I surf the web. While partaking in both those activities this afternoon I came across these pics of yours just as Miles was enjoying the first Harry Potter movie for the hundredth time. That little town is just gorgeous. You guys look like you're having a great time exploring. Keep posting your outings, they're great!
