A Field Trip to the Water Treatment Plant

 Today Aoife, Declan and I went on Aidan's gifted class' field trip to the water treatment plant here on post.  It was really interesting!  We learned where the water comes from, how it is cleaned and treated and how the water on post is used.  It was a cool tour and I think the kids really enjoyed it.  It's nice to see them engaged and it's also nice to see that there are some really cool jobs out there!  The field trip did remind me of the book - The Magic School Bus at the Waterworks!
