Merry Christmas 2024!!

 Merry Christmas!!! I know that I probably say this every year but today was the best Christmas ever! The kids woke up around 8:00 and I spent some time before they got up just relaxing with the cat in front of the tree. We opened presents and had so much fun. The most wanted gifts of the year this year were - Aidan - rock climbing harness, Emmy - Shark hairdryer, Aoife - Northface jacket and Declan - VR headset.

We had a big turkey dinner and Tony and my parents joined us in celebrating. We are so lucky to all be able to spend time together. It's been such a great winter break so far and it's so nice to have everyone under one roof again! <3

Christmas Eve!

Merry Christmas Eve!! We just spent the day hanging around, wrapping presents and cooking for Christmas Day. We all went down to Alexandria to see my parents for Christmas eve dinner and had out traditional Chinese food for dinner. It was really nice to just relax! I'm so glad that I got all of the wrapping done earlier in the day because after we came home we opened out Christmas pajamas, legos for the kids and watched a Christmas movie all together in front of the fire!

Feast Wishes

 It's the last day before Winter Break! Stone Ridge celebrates Feast Wishes today - seniors all wear cream sweaters and red tights with their kilts - lots of red hair ribbons too!  These girls are adorable!

Emmy to Holy Cross - it's official!!

 Even though it's been more than a year since she committed to Holy Cross, the official admissions decisions came out today!! Couldn't be more proud of you Emmy!!! Can't wait to see what fun and excitement the next four hold for you!

Chain Bridge adopts holiday families

 Ever since we started out team - almost 5 years ago - Lori and I have adopted families at Christmas. It's a really fun way to give back. This year we adopted two local families and had a lot of fun shopping for them and we are also so appreciative of our friends, family and clients who have helped support them as well! Merry Christmas!

Recruiting starts for Aoife!

Today Aoife participated in her first official recruiting showcase. It's the first of MANY and the beginning of a year long journey. So excited for her!

 

Declan's basketball team

 Declan is playing on a new basketball team this winter and it's a lot of fun! He is one of the tallest and has gotten a lot better over the past year. It's going to be a fun season!!

Potomac Basketball

 After a few years off from basketball and wrestling for Potomac last year, Aoife tried out for basketball and made the Varsity team!!  Soooo proud of her and the hard work that it takes to make your 4th varsity team by your sophomore year and winning the hardhat award for hustle!

Fall Brawl

 This year Potomac and Stone Ridge particiapted in Fall Brawl and both won their brackets - meaning that Aoife and Emmy squared off against each other in the Championship game!! So much fun to have them on the field together. They both played really well but Stone Ridge came away with a 1 point victory!!
