Emmy's Senior Sunrise

First Day of Senior Year!!!! I can hardly believe it!! The class of 2025 enjoyed their Senior Sunrise this morning - and adopted their senior theme of the "Last Flight". They were all so adorable in their matching shirts and bomber jackets!! 

Declan's First Day of 6th grade!

Declan started Middle School today!! Crazy to think that after all these years we are done with Elementary school! Aidan's first day of Kindergarten was in Sept of 2009 - so 15 years of elementary school are done! Can't say that I'm sad about it - it really does feel like it's time to move on!! Welcome to Middle School Declan!!

Moving Aidan in - Sophomore Year!

 Aidan and I drove up to CT to drop him off for his sophomore year! It was quite a bit different this year without everyone else. He also moved in early because of the Quest orientation trip he is leading so there weren't even other students on campus! This year he has a single - so setting up the room was really different as well!

We are going to miss having Aidan around but know that he is going to have a great year!!

Open House at WMS

 Today we went to Williamsburg for Declan's orientation. They got to meet their teachers and practice opening their lockers. They also got to walk through their schedules in preparation for the first day!! Soooo proud of Declan!!

Lunch dates!

Chick fil A with the boys! Declan, Jack, Ty, Jacob and I had a fun lunch date to Chick Fil A today!! Love spending time with these boys!!

 

Family Dinner at Le Diplomat

We had so much fun all together for a last night out this summer all together! Le Diplomat was the perfect place - quintessential DC and incredible any time of the year. 

 

Emmy's first round of Senior Photos

Emmy and I went over to school this morning for her Senior Photo appointment. I managed to snag a few of her as well before we left! :)

Brendan's Change of Command

So proud of Brendan today as he changes out of Command of The Army Aviation Brigade at Fort Belvoir and starts the transition out of the Army to civilian life! 

 

Spouse Ride

Today, after 25 years, I got to ride in an Army helicopter! The batallion organized a spouse ride day and it was awesome!!!
