Summer Nights

 Our neighborhood is gorgeous all year but I love summer evenings! The trees and flowers and incredible - we are so lucky!!!

Aidan and Ella

It's so nice having Aidan and Ella around the house again! Aidan is working a LOT this summer so it's rare that we get to see him and we love it when we get to spend time with both of them!!!!

 

Driving Lessons!!

 Aoife has started her behind the wheel lessons!!!  We will have a licensed driver soon!!

Sailing Camp

Declan has been at sailing camp again this summer! He got his sunfish license the first week of camp and has loved being able to take the boats out on his own. It is really fun watching him be able to do something that I have no idea how to do!!

 

Maryland Cup at DE Turf

 Aoife and I headed out to Delaware for the last tournament of the season. We spent the night in DE since the games were really early the next day. We decided that we wanted to see the beach - even though it was really late and drove to the ocean. There were so many mosquitos that we only lasted about 10 minutes - and figured out that the mosquitos didn't bother us if we were standing in the water!

The girls played great in the tournament  - hard to believe that the season is over - now recruiting camps start and the wait begins!

So many tournaments!! Emmy drove Declan up to Pennsylvania and met Aoife and me on our way down from New Jersey. I stayed with Declan for the tournament and Emmy and Aoife went home. Declan and I got to hang out during a bit of a weather delay - but we finally got the games in!

 We've gotten so lucky this summer - the weather for tournaments has actually been OK and not horribly hot! Aoife and I had a great time together at G8!!

Nats vs Redsox

 Beautiful hot summer day for a baseball game!! Emmy is at the beach with Averie so we took Lara with us instead. We had a great time and the Red Sox won!!
