We had our first snow storm of the year today!! It was so pretty!!! The big kids had to go to school - even though the roads were terrible - and Declan got to stay home and play in the snow! He wore mittens for all of about 5 minutes and then refused to wear them but still wanted to be outside helping Brendan shovel the sidewalk. He lasted longer than I thought he would but once his hands got really cold, he wanted to go in.
The big kids were happy to play in the snow for about a half an hour after they got home from school. It starts to get dark so early that they didn't really have much more time. Hopefully we'll have another snow day soon and they'll get to stay home!
