Potomac competed in the MAC Individual tournament this weekend at Sidwell Friends school. Aidan won both of his matches and came in 1st at 190lbs!! At the beginning of the year he had set a goal of winning the MAC and placing at States. So proud of him for accomplishing the first half of the goal - we'll have to wait another two weeks to get to States! It's been a rough road this season - he had both Flu and COVID about a month apart and has really just now fully recovered and started to hit his stride. I guess it's a great time to peak! We are so proud of his leadership and all of the hard work that has gone into wrestling over the past 6 years. It's such a difficult sport and the focus and determination that it takes to succeed is immense. It's such an incredible accomplishment to have made it this far and have all of the success that he has had!
