Cooking Classes for Emmy

 Gramma gave Emmy some cooking classes for Christmas and she had so much fun!!

 This morning I got up really early and drove to the Capitol to see Brendan do a training exercise and land a Blackhawk on the Capitol grounds! It was really cool!!

Mt. Vernon at Christmas

We took a quick trip. to Mt. Vernon today to see the camel and all of the Christmas activities and decorations. It was a chilly day - but at least it wasn't raining!!  We had a great time being outside and having some pre-Christmas fun!  The camel was super cute and we got to see a presentation about spices and chocolate. Pretty cool!!  We took a house tour and it was great - I hadn't had a tour in a while and all of the restoration is looking awesome. 

As usual, the trees were fantastic. They were beautiful and all were decorated differently. We got a family membership from my parents for Christmas so we will have a lot of fun trips in our future!

 Brendan and I got to go out to dinner at the Diplomat tonight! We love going at Christmastime!
