Halloween these days is sure different then when everyone was little! This year Aoife dressed up as a Power Puff girl and trick or treated with friends. Emmy spent time with her friends and Aidan was home with us. Declan and I trick or treated with his neighborhood friends and had a lot of fun. It was a nice warm night for October!
Aidan played in his first real Homecoming football game this weekend! It was a great game against Flint Hill and Potomac came away with a resounding 25-6 Win! Aidan played exceptionally and made a huge play when he recovered a fumbled snap. It was a beautiful day and it was a great day to be a Panther!
Out kitchen is 90% of the way there!! We are still waiting on the hood, windows and a few other small things but we can USE the stove, sink and dishwasher!! After being in the basement for the past 2 1/2 months, this is amazing!!!
Aidan and I drove down to W&L in Lexington to do a first real college visit! We had walked around William & Mary during the summer but it was quick.
We were able to spend some time with one of Aidan's wrestling teammates from Potomac and he LOVES W&L. It was nice to get a student perspective! We were also able to speak with some of the football coaching staff. It was a nice visit and a good introduction to the process!
Emmy went to her freshman Homecoming this weekend! So much fun! They met up at a friend's house before to eat and take photos and then shuttled over to the dance. They all looked so beautiful!! It was really fun to be able to participate - especially after COVID ruined all of their fun last year!
The countertops in the kitchen were installed today!! So exciting - we are slowly getting towards the finish line!!
Tonight was the YHS football game at McLean. The kids love dressing up and the theme was Cowboys vs. Aliens! So adorable! I love how they get in the spirit!!
