Declan had a great time and it was nice to get out of the house. Sometimes we get lazy about going into the District and it's nice to have a good reason to battle the traffic!!

Wegman's Wonderplace at the Museum of American History
Today we went with all of our Stroller Strong friends to the Smithsonian American History Museum to check out the new Wegman's Wonderplace play area. It was super fun! There is a big (safe) climbing area, a small version of Julia Child's kitchen, a farm area, lots of blocks and mirrors and switches and levers and plenty of room to run around. There's even a bathroom right there! Someone who knows moms and kids designed this!!

4th of July SLAM
What a great way to start the 4th of July weekend - a little SLAM session with our Stroller Strong DC family!! The whole family came - everyone ran, did burpees and relays - family fitness is where it's at!

Stroller Strong Moms
Declan and I have started going to Stroller Strong Moms. It's an exercise group that meets 3 times a week at a local park. It's fantastic and a really fun support group! Today is Halloween so everyone dressed up and brought snacks for afterwards!! Declan and I were a chef and a lobster!
