We are finally able to sit out on the deck!! Progress is happening!!

 A great win over Bishop Ireton today at home!! So happy for these amazing kids on an incredible season so far!

Declan's 10th Birthday

Happy 10th Birthday Declan!! The sweetest Minecraft loving, bike riding 4th grader I know!! We had a great day and even were able to go out to dinner at Pietanza with Gramma and Daddy Jim and then head home for chocolate cake!

 

Maryland Renaissance Festival

Another fun trip to the Maryland Renaissance Festival this year! We usually go in the summer but we didn't make it until a little later this year. It was much more crowded than we were used to but we had a great time - especially on the climbing wall!

Senior Portraits

 Senior photos today! It really is crazy that it happens so early in the year but it does feel like we are off to the races all of a sudden!

Potomac vs. JPTG

Potomac played a great game against John Paul the Great this afternoon and came out with a 34-7 win in their second game. A great 2-0 start to the season! What an awesome way to finish up a great day - Change of Command and an awesome game!!

 

Brendan's Change of Command

 Today Brendan took command of The Army Aviation Brigade (TAAB) at Fort Belvoir. We are so honored that so many of our friends and family came to celebrate with us and witness such a beautiful and historic ceremony! How lucky we are to all be together for such an incredible accomplishment!

Aidan's Last First Day!

This is a tough one - the last first day of school. Kindergarten seems like yesterday and a lifetime ago at the same time. Getting here has had it's challenges - with deployments, changing schools, moving and COVID -  but mostly it's been a really fun ride full of joy and so much love! We couldn't be prouder of the kind, thoughtful, hilarious and hardworking man Aidan has become. The past three years have gone by in a flash and I'm sure this one will fly by as well. We will try to savor the moments and make lots of memories!! Happy Senior Year! 

 

Deck Progress!

 We have waited so long to get the deck built and we are FINALLY able to use it! Can't wait to get the underneath portion completed and furnished. Once the fireplace goes in, it will be awesome!!!
