Capital City Lax Tournament

Another great tournament weekend!! Lots of great saves for both Emmy and Aoife!

 It was a crazy weekend and I ended up taking Emmy up to her tournament in MD and Aoife went to her games with a friend on her team while Brendan did some coaches' training and the boys hung out with my parents. It was a great day for lacrosse and Emmy's team looked good - especially after having missed some practices and games because of the rain!

FLG in 3D

 Aidan got some playing time at his tournament this weekend!  It was great to watch him play - he is getting better and better each game!

3D Mid Atlantic at the Naptown Challenge

 Aidan has been playing on 3D Mid Atlantic for the past few months and this week they played in a tournament outside Annapolis. Sadly they didn't win any games but they got some great experience and improved a lot!  Aidan played in goal for a portion and did really well!

Prospects LAX at the Leesburg Shootout

 Aidan's lacrosse team had been rained out of their tournament earlier in the fall and they made it up today. It was COLD and Brendan took Aidan up there really early for their three games.  I brought the rest of the kids up to watch the last two games since it was the end of the season.
Unfortunately they lost all of their games but Aidan played really well and made a ton of awesome saves.  He got LOTS of practice and had lots of shots on him which is really good as a goalie!  I have seen a huge improvement since he started playing this summer and I'm sure we will continue to watch him improve.

Final Pride Tournament

 Emmy played in her last Pride tournament of the year this morning. It was so cold - about 30 degrees when we arrived for warm ups!  They were tough and didn't complain at all - probably the donuts and hot chocolate helped!!

Emmy - Pride Lacrosse Tournament

Emmy played in another tournament with her Pride team today.  More getting up early to drive to Maryland.  I admire her commitment!!!

Pride Tournament

Emmy and Aoife played in their first tournament with Pride this weekend.  We got up SUPER early and drove to Maryland for their games.  It was COLD for Aoife's first game but they were tough and did really well against a much older team.  The girls played all morning - they each played in four games and were totally wiped out by the end of the day!!
