What an awesome Christmas!! Each year as the kids get older it gets better and better! Everyone seemed to love all of the presents that Santa left for them. We also had Gramma and Daddy Jim and Tony here for Christmas afternoon and dinner again this year. We are so lucky to have family and friends who are like family here with us. I am so happy that we get to spend so much time with them!!

Santa brought an early Christmas present today! Kit the cat looks just like Buttercup!! He is the sweetest little thing and although he has taken a few days to get comfortable, he fits right in and loves to snuggle, watch birds at the feeder and sit in the sun!

We went to Mt. Vernon today with the Langdons. It was a beautiful day and the kids had a great time! We got to see the animals, winter gardens and the camel! It's always fun to go at Christmas and it was even more empty than I thought it would be. For a beautiful day right before Christmas I thought there would be more people there!

The boys had a great day at the Langley Invitational today! It was a really big meet and unfortunately Aidan was eliminated in his first two matches but many of the boys did well! We are really looking forward to the rest of the season!

The wrestling team had another SuperQuad this Saturday and even though Aidan is on antibiotics for an ear infection, he did great and had a few wins! It was my weekend to cook breakfast for the team - so many eggs!!!

We managed to get everyone in the backyard today to take our Christmas card photo! I don't know why I can never make this happen earlier in the fall but the time never seems right - so forced family photos it is! Buttercup had to make an appearance again this year - I didn't use that photo for the card but definitely made a Christmas Tree ornament out of it! It's preserved forever now!!
