Box Lacrosse - Summer 2018

Box Lacrosse has started again!  This year we have three kids playing which means that I basically live at McLean High School. Thinking about setting up a tent behind the bleachers.

More Aidan in Goal

Aidan and Emmy in Goal

Aidan and Emmy are both playing in goal this Box LAX season. They have both been doing great and it's really impressive to watch them. Aidan is new to the sport but has become pretty good pretty quickly!  It's so fun to watch them!

Mojo Box Lacrosse

Emmy and Aoife got to play on the same team for the first time in a long while tonight!  Aoife was super psyched about it - Emmy, not so much!  It was so hot and the girls were so tough.  Emmy made some really great saves and Aoife played really well and held her own against the bigger girls!!

Aoife playing Box Lacrosse

Aoife has had a fun season playing Box Lacrosse this summer.  Unfortunately, the league hasn't been very big and her team has had to play against themselves for most of the games.  It's good for practicing but not as fun as playing games! Today Aoife played in three games in a row - one with her team against itself and then two games in a row with Emmy's team.  Three hours of LAX in the heat - she was DONE!

More Emmy in Goal!

Summer Box Lacrosse

The girls are both playing box lacrosse again this summer.  It's nice because it's only one game a week and no practices!  The only bad thing about it is that it can be really hot.  Both girls had great games today and Aoife got to spend one period in goal - she did great!
