Aoife's Last Field Hockey Game

Today Aoife had her last field hockey game of the season! It's been fun to try something new!

Aoife's Field Hockey Game vs McLean

Aoife had a field hockey game this morning - bright and early! - against McLean and they won! The score may have been something like 20-1. I think they stopped keeping score at some point. The girls are really starting to gel as a team and are playing well together! It's fun watching them improve daily!

Aoife had her field hockey game today! It was her second game and they really improved throughout the game. They ended up tying and everyone played really hard. It's a fun sport to watch - surprisingly different than lacrosse!

Emmy's Field Hockey Game

Emmy had her first field hockey game today! They played against a really good travel team and definitely held their own - even though they are all new to the sport! It's so much fun watching her play and learn something different! I think she likes being out of the goal - although she did migrate back that way during the game! 

Starting Field Hockey

Emmy and Aoife had their first field hockey practice tonight - and it was such a beautiful night!!  I'm excited for them to have a true fall sport.  Emmy will be able to try out for the high school team next year as an 8th grader and this will give her a little bit of an introduction. They ha a great time and really seemed to like it!

Field Hockey

Emmy has gotten so much better at field hockey in the past few months!  It's so much fun to watch her learn and improve.  She works so hard and it really pays off.  I love watching her!!

Field Hockey - week 2

 Emmy and Logan had their second week of field hockey this week - it is SO MUCH FUN watching them play!! 

Emmy starts Field Hockey

Emmy started field hockey today!  It's a 2 hour per week developmental program and she had a great time!  She's doing it with her friend, Logan, which is fun since we don't really get to see them all that much!  It was a beautiful early fall day - cool and sunny which was perfect!!
