 Over the past few weeks we had the old hall bathroom ripped out and redone! I LOVE it and it feels so open and bright!!

Trip to Holy Cross/Boston

Brendan, Emmy and Declan went up to Holy Cross this weekend for her official visit with her recruiting class. I don't know who had more fun!!

Aoife at UNSA recruiting day

Aoife and I headed to Annapolis today for a recruiting camp at the USNA. Afterwards we got lunch at our regular spot - with some yummy oysters!

 

Snow Days!!

We have an extended winter break!! It snowed Sunday night and through the day on Monday - about 10-12 inches! So much snow that Tuesday was also a snow day!  Wednesday Emmy has a 2 hour delay, Declan has no school and poor Aoife has to go to school all day long!!

 

Potomac Lacrosse at Spooky Nook 2025

 This weekend Aoife and the Potomac lacrosse team got to compete in the IL Women Indoor National Lacrosse Championships at Spooky Nook.  Emmy and I went last year with Stone Ridge but they chose not to participate this year and Potomac got a chance to be there.  We escaped snow this year - a storm came in a day after we left but it was sooooooo cold!! We had a great time - although it was a quick trip. The girls played at 3 and 6 on day 1 - and went 1-1. We had an awesome team dinner at Lancaster Brewing  The food was really great and the service was excellent. I think I would make a special trip to go back when we are up in the area again! On day 2 the girls played really hard but fell short. Only having 2 subs for the entire weekend finally caught up to them. Super proud of how hard they played - definitely can compete on the National stage!
