Shelling

 My Mom and Dad found a great shelling spot on a walk.  The shells are in the dunes and the storm had washed away a bunch of sand and the shells were just sticking right out of the side of the dune!  It was pretty cool that you could just pull them right out.  Neat to think about how long those shells might have been there!
It was a 15 minute walk down the beach and it was hot.  Aoife was not happy so she and I walked back ahead of the others.  So fun to have a little one on one time with my Fa!

Just Another Day at the Beach

 Laurie brought these kites with her and they worked great!!  It was perfect kite flying weather but now the kids think that kites always fly like that!  Oops!!  The water was clear and perfect today!  Declan loved it and we had a great time body surfing.  Even Emmy is getting up the courage to go out and enjoy the waves!

 The kids are really good at this by now!  I am constantly forcing them to take a group picture - I'm sure they will rebel at some point but for now I'll take it!!!!

A Walk on the Beach

 We went for a walk on the beach tonight because the light is just gorgeous and I wanted to take a family picture - even if we are missing Brendan.  It was really nice and the kids had fun running and jumping off of the dropoffs on the beach. We did the same thing two years ago and the kids were so little!

They're Here!

 My Dad, Laurie and Jeff arrived!  It's getting crowded in the condo!! :)  We went to the beach and it was beautiful!  The water was calm and clear and just gorgeous!  We had a fun time swimming and hanging out on the balcony!

Blue Lagoon

 Since it was a bit rough and windy, we tried the beach over on the sound side of the island.  It was very calm but I was terrified that I was going to step on a stingray - this is not an unfounded fear - they love calm warm water!  The kids thought it was OK - a little boring though.  We ticked the box and didn't go back the rest of the vacation.
