Emmy's 7th Birthday Party

 Because we are going to be in Virginia for Emmy's birthday, we decided to have her party before we left Clarksville.  She invited all of her friends and we had it at the same gym where Aoife had her party just a few weeks ago.  The girls had a great time and Declan was in heaven - again!  They ran around screaming, ate cupcakes and junk food and had an all around great time!

 I had to ORDER cupcakes because all of my kitchen stuff is in boxes!

101st Airborne (Air Assault) Division Run

 On Friday morning, we got up early and got to Division Headquarters at 6:20 am to watch Brendan run in the Division Run to kick off Week of the Eagles.  It was really cold - about 45 degrees - and the movers had packed all of our warm clothes and jackets.  Emmy was lucky because her fleece got left out by mistake so she was probably the warmest of all of us!  Declan was cold in the stroller but was a trooper!  We watched the guys take off and then waited in the cold with our friends for 30 minutes until they came back around.  After the Division Staff finished, the rest of the soldiers ran by in formation.  It was quite a sight!!!  I think the kids would have enjoyed themselves more if it had been warmer but it was great to finish up our time at Fort Campbell with this awesome event!!

Aoife's First Tooth Loss!

 Aoife lost her first tooth today!!  The tooth behind it had come in a few weeks ago and it finally pushed the baby tooth out enough to pull!  She was very nervous beforehand but VERY happy afterwards!!

Summer!!!

 So there's a funny story about this new slide!  At the beginning of last summer, we were using our old slide and it ripped - beyond repair!  I got on my phone and ordered a new one from Amazon but accidentally sent it to Brendan in Afghanistan!  It sat there for nearly a year and he brought it home with him in February.  It is super fun and I wish that we'd had it last summer!!
