Torpedoes at the Verizon Center

 Aidan's basketball team got to play during halftime of the Georgetown game at the Verizon Center tonight!  It was AMAZING!!  I got to go down on the court and take pictures which was incredible and so much fun!!  The boys played so well and got more cheers than the Georgetown team!  What a great way to start a basketball season!!!

Preschool Christmas Pageant

 Declan's school had their annual Christmas pageant today.  Declan could not have been less interested in being on stage.  He stood their looking super bored until he realized he could flip his costume over his head.  At least it was better than last year when his pants were falling down!!

 

Tree Ornaments

Indoor Soccer

 Aoife started playing indoor soccer this year.  Her team is named the Cheetahs and it's a bunch of girls from all over the county. It's nice to finally get mixed up with girls and families from other schools.  Sometimes I feel like we live in our little bubble!

Decorating the Tree

 This year we got our tree at Merrifield Garden Center.  It's such a fun place to visit with so many trees set up and thousands or ornaments for sale!  We had a great time decorating the tree!!

The Worm Eating Warbler

 Aoife's grade is doing a project on bird migration with the Smithsonian and a school in Nicaragua.  Each child was assigned a bird to research and write a presentation on - Aoife's bird was the Worm Eating Warbler.  The presentation was great and all of the artwork was beautiful!!

2016 Christmas Card Photos

 Today we went over to CF Smith Park to take photos for our Christmas Cards.  We got so many good ones this year - the hardest part will be deciding which one to use!!
