Emmy and I went up to the Lax Indoor National Championships at Spooky Nook this weekend - and it SNOWED like crazy!! The weather was terrible but the lacrosse was great! Super fun to play with Stone Ridge - great lead up to the upcoming season!!

New Years Eve Sunrise
Aoife and I got up early to go and see the last sunrise of 2023 at the Lincoln Memorial this morning! It was a little chilly but it was totally worth it and we were some of the only people there. The light was beautiful and it was a great start to the last day of the year!

After dropping Aoife off with some friends in the district, I thought I'd stop by the Christmas tree at the Capitol. It did not disappoint!!

Christmas Morning 2023
Another amazing Christmas to top off a great year! We didn't have a super early morning this year - everyone slept in until about 8:00 and then we had a great time opening presents together! This year Santa mixed up all of the gifts under the tree so that it would take a little longer to get through everything. We had cinnamon rolls for breakfast and turkey for dinner.

Christmas Eve 2023
Merry Christmas Eve!! Keeping with our yearly tradition - we went to Gramma and Daddy Jim's house and had Chinese food. Afterwards, went home to unwrap a few presents and head to bed to wait for Santa!
