Visiting the Cherry Blossoms in the Tidal Basin

 We missed the peak blossoms during the gorgeous sunny and warm weather!!  Declan and I went to see what was left this morning with Gramma and Daddy Jim.  It was beautiful still - even if it was chilly and cloudy!  We saw lots of blossoms and even some ducks!  Declan loved being just close enough to the edge to make me pretty nervous!  We also walked through the FDR memorial which is beautiful and has lots of its own cherries and crab apples.
Next year we've got to make a point of getting down there for the peak!
