Visiting Emmy - Holy Cross vs Stonehill

I finally made it up to Holy Cross for a game!! It's only the third one but I feel like the season has been going on forever and I hate missing games. It was a good one to go to - Holy Cross won easily - it's a lot better to be in the freezing cold when you're winning!

After the game we went to the post game tailgate with the families and then Emmy and I did a Target run and grabbed some dinner. Love spending time with her!!!! It will be a few weeks until we get to another game - so happy they are all televised!!!

 

Snowstorm 2026

It's been a week and we are all still digging out from the snow/ice storm! We got about 8 inches of snow but then two inches of sleet/freezing rain and nothing about 25 degrees for a week. It's now just 4 inches of solid ice on everything. The cat has done nothing but sleep on me or the heating pad for the past week! Since we were snowed in, we made fresh pasta! It was so delicious and not that hard. Can't believe we've never done it before! 

Emmy and Aidan got a lot more snow than we did - plenty for sledding at Holy Cross and skiing in Connecticut!
