Happy Easter!

We got to spend an awesome Easter with my parents this year. We are so lucky to have them so close by. I feel spoiled! The kids opened Easter baskets at home and then we went over to my parents' for lunch/dinner with them and my aunt and uncle. The kids got to do an Easter egg hunt in the back yard and got tons of candy!

Monticello

I have been wanting to go to Monticello for years and we finally made it down to Charlottesville today. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time with our neighbors. We stayed longer than we thought we would and ate dinner at a great place in downtown Charlottesville.  We even got to see the UVA women's lacrosse team play Boston College where we ran into some of Emmy's Pride teammates!

It was a great day!

Mt. Vernon Spring Break

We didn't go anywhere for Spring Break this year and decided to get to the local sites that we never have a chance to see during the school year. We brought the neighbors kids with us and had a super time - although people thought that I had 6 kids and everyone was giving us crazy looks!

We saw the house and the grounds and the baby lambs - everyone's favorite part!!

Trampoline Park!

 We took Ava with us to the trampoline park today! We had a lot of fun and got a LOT of energy out!!

Forts!

Aoife and Declan tried out the fort making kit that Aidan got for his birthday! So much fun! 

Aoife in Goal

 Aoife had her first Arlington Lacrosse game of the season today. She tried out for the 3/4 A team and made it - one of only 3 3rd graders!  So proud of her for being so tough and gutsy AND then playing in goal for the very first game. They won and she played great!!
